FF7 Remake is a solid game but....

Image
Final Fantasy 7 probably will always be my favorite of the series. The graphics were shit, but the game was phenomenal. The story line, the battle mechanics, the puzzles, and even the side quests with those impossible to beat mega bosses were fun and kept us playing for hours.  Naturally when news of them Square Enix doing a remake broke myself and all the other fanatics were excited. Admittedly, I was late to the Final Fantasy party, but when it finished downloading I couldn't wait to see if it would stack up to the original.  So far I am at the part where the sector 7 plate has fallen and Cloud and company are chasing down these side quests to help out the people in the aftermath-- specifically I am at the battle with Behemoth Type-0, if that means anything to you. If not just know it's a big boss that's incredibly challenging to beat.  Anyway, so far that game has started off really well as pertains to the graphics and the story, but where my biggest issue lies with the

A Criminal Minds Reboot-- Already?

Image
Criminal Minds is one of my all-time favorite TV shows; I have seen all 15 season at least 3 times. Sometimes I get up and turn on Criminal Minds just so I have background noise while I am gaming or working on a project. When the show finally came to close I was just as bummed about it as I was after I saw the last episode of Friends, another one of my TV show obsessions, so when I read that they might be doing a reboot I was super excited.  The Show First, I'll talk a little bit about the show overall for those of you who haven't seen it. The show follows a team of FBI agents in the Behavioral Analysis Unit, or BAU for short. The show started out with Aaron Hotchner and Jason Gideon leading the team. The team members were Dr. Spencer Reid, Jennifer Jareau, Elle Greenaway, Derek Morgan and Penelope Gracia as the technical analyst.  The team travels the country solving heinous crimes by studying the criminals' behavior to predict what the criminal will do next or where he is

Gina Carano fired, Pedro Pascal is Disappointed and Even Bill Burr Has Something to Say

Gina Carano finally forced Disney to cut ties with her and she doesn't seem to be very happy about it-- for the life of me I can't figure out why she is so upset with the situation. She was able to use social media to voice her opinions, people reacted to those opinions, Disney warned her, gave her a chance to apologize and smooth things over, but Gina stuck to her guns and Disney had to cut ties. In my mind, she got exactly what she wanted. She wanted to speak her mind and not be told she has to watch what she says in public forums and now she can do that working with Ben Shapiro and his brand of crazy.  I get that she might have wanted to stay on the Mandalorian, but that's not how being a celebrity and working in film works. The reason they casted Terrance Howard to play Rhodey in the original Iron Man is because at the time his star was on the rise and people knew that adding him to the cast would bring more viewers to the theater. They later switched to Don Cheadle b
