Someone Needs to Knockout Jake Paul ASAP

I can't stand Jake Paul; in my opinion he's nothing, but a fake bully chasing checks. He surrounds himself with all these guys who do nothing but feed his ego and help him write checks his ass is only going to cash because he's picking on people he knows he can beat.

Consider Me Unimpressed

I've never been impressed with either of the Paul Brothers. They just seem like stupid privileged kids that would do anything for attention and nothing was off limits, to the point where Logan actually caught some backlash for going into a forest in Japan looking for people who had killed themselves. Apparently this forest was known for people wandering out there and taking their own lives, so they had to go see for themselves. *Luckily* They were able to find a body that they had filmed and shared with their millions of viewers.

Of course there was a bullsh*t public apology, but all the situation did was draw more attention to them. A few years later, Logan got set to fight some YouTuber named KSI over some beef they apparently had. I didn't know anything about it except for the fact that I didn't really care for the idea, but if one of the Paul brothers is going to get knocked out then I can't find a good reason it shouldn't happen. He won the fight and enter Jake versus AnEsonGib, another YouTuber.

Again, not a big fan of these kids jumping into the ring calling themselves boxers and making a mockery of the sport, but hey, if one of them gets knocked out it was worth it-- problem is that both won their fights and now that they've won in front of a crowd and won some money, they think they're hot shit and, all they did was beat up on smaller guys who, like them, weren't actually fighters. Now, I won't take anything away from them actually training and learning to box, but just about anyone can do that and it's significantly easier to win a boxing match when your opponent has no experience and you're bigger.

Yes, shorter fighters often do fight people slightly taller, but when you have experience you know how to overcome the height disadvantage. Case in point, when an MMA fighter is at a height disadvantage, to level the playing field they may wait for an opportunity to slip the jab and shoot for a take down or grapple which closes the distance and makes the height advantage go away even if only but for a moment.

The same principle applies in boxing with the key difference being that you cannot take your opponent down. You can tie them up for a moment, but once the ref breaks you up, you're right back to being on the outside of that jab, so in boxing, when someone is taller you have cut off the ring and try to stay on the inside the reach of the taller opponent. KSI and AnEsonGib might have learned this, but putting it into practice is a lot different. Mike Tyson once said, "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth." which was very likely the case for those two YouTubers.

Now they both have wins under their belts, KSI wanted a rematch and Jake Paul set his sights on Nate Robinson. I can't say I was too mad that KSI was getting a rematch. Like I said, it was his first boxing match and he basically proved my point about needing experience to win because KSI would win the fight by decision. Jake, however, had moved on to a guy that just retired from the NBA. For someone who calls themself a professional you would think they would want some tougher opponents, right?

Not Jake Paul; apparently, he likes fighting people he knows he has the best chance of beating because Jake Paul, again, was the bigger fighter and he had experience. Not saying Nate can't box, but when you're listed at 5'9" and the guy you're fighting is listed at almost 6' the degree of difficulty significantly increases making a fight like that for someone with almost zero experience nearly impossible to win.

Do I really need to tell you that Nate got  knocked out or can we flash forward to Ben...

and as stupid as I thought the whole thing was, deep down I was hoping Askren would pull out a win, but I wasn't very hopeful because Ben was not known for his striking. Ask anyone who watches MMA and they'll tell you that Ben Askren was not a guy that people watched because there was a good chance he was going to knock someone out. Sure enough, Jake would score another knockout, but this time he was just disrespectful. I mean, it's one thing to have beef, but when you go into the ring and settle it you handle it with grace especially when it's someone who is a world class athlete. Jake didn't earn that chance, Ben gave it to him, so for Jake to say he feels embarrassed for him was just a classless thing to do for someone who can barely box.

I didn't see the fight, but I can honestly tell you exactly what happened. Jake probably did a really good job of keeping Ben at bay with the jab and mixing in combinations and counters to keep him honest. Ben, not being a striker, couldn't figure out how to cut down the ring and stay inside of Jake's reach which would lead to Ben getting knocked out. If you watched the fight and you're reading this, please let me know how close I am because I swear all I saw was the knock out sequence.

Jake Paul and his super inflated ego

Now that he's won three hand picked fights against guys he already had a good chance of beating in the first place, he's looking for a new opponent and I can guarantee it's not gonna be anyone that would actually be a challenge for him. He's called out several people, including Daniel Cormier who said that he would fight him if he met him in the octagon. Jake said that was an embarrassing challenge, and honestly, he wasn't lying. Jake Paul going up against a world class mixed martial arts champion in the octagon ends as quickly as it starts unless Cormier decided to play with his food.

At this point, Jake has gotten some attention from high caliber fighters looking to crush him for making a mockery of their sport. Karamu Usman, Nate Diaz, Cody Garbrandt, Dillon Danis, Gervonta Davis, Antonio Tarver, Tommy Fury, and Anthony Ogogo are all some of the top names in combat sports that would love an opportunity to knock him smooth TF out, but again, Jake is going to pick someone he has the greatest chance of winning because he's a manufactured bullied that's chasing easy checks by beating up people he knows he has the best chance of beating. Nothing real or good about the clown.
